But Miami also offers a destination feel if you’d rather stay closer to the city.

Virginia Key, Miami

Virginia Key is the perfect backdrop for a Miami elopement. It’s one of the most secluded-feeling beaches in Miami and is definitely a hidden gem! It’s a beach park on the island of Key Biscayne and has multiple areas to take photos.

This is a great option if you’re looking for just photos and to have a few guests (think 15 or less) to watch your vow exchange and take bride and groom portraits and family photos afterwards. It’s the ideal option for those wanting something really low-key and simple but in a beautiful setting.

Crandon Park, Miami

Crandon Park is a Miami staple! This iconic beach park is filled with palm trees and sand dunes right on Biscayne Bay. This is another great place to elope as there are so many areas to shoot and it’s a more relaxing vibe than Miami Beach. While you can elope here at sunset, I would recommend this for more of a sunrise elopement if you really want to avoid other beachgoers.

Baker’s Cay, Key Largo

Baker’s Cay Resort is one of the treasures of the Florida Keys. Located in Key Largo, just an hour from Miami, is a lush and secluded getaway that will definitely put you in a relaxed state of mind. They offer all of the resort amenities but in a quieter setting. If you love nature, I highly recommend this resort! Its mangrove forests and hidden beach coves create the perfect place to elope in paradise.

Playa Largo, Key Largo

Playa Largo is another incredible resort in Key Largo that has the full resort feel. It is one of the few places in the Keys, like Baker’s Cay, that has a sandy beach since the Keys sit on coral rock and the beaches here are mainly manmade. This would be a great place to combine your elopement and honeymoon into one and make an extended trip out of it!

Isla Bella Resort, Marathon, FL
