I had already been shooting weddings for a few years when I got asked to shoot my very first elopement in Iceland. It was just the two of them and me, and we traveled around Iceland in the freezing cold and had the most epic adventure. There was something so special about getting to capture their vows without another soul around and seeing the love between them.
That elopement changed my life and sparked a love for intimate weddings and a desire to connect with couples who shared this same love. People are often drawn to elopements and intimate weddings for many reasons; it's more budget-friendly, it's easier to plan, and there are fewer opinions to factor in. But ultimately, most people want to elope because they are just so happy to get to marry the love of their life and that is truly all that matters to them. The extra stuff is nice, but it's the love that lasts after the wedding day.

The intimate wedding package is ideal for those who are having a wedding with 30 guests or less but still prioritize photography on the top of their list. This amount of coverage is enough to include getting ready, ceremony, vow exchange, portraits after, and often the beginning of dinner + dancing depending on the schedule.

Destination Elopements
Donna planned and then drove with us on our Mexico elopement road trip from the desert to a jungle sculpture garden, which had always been a dream for us. The trip (itinerary planned by Donna) was literally a dream come true, with lunches with epic views and beautiful nature walks to waterfalls. Donna was so fun and so easygoing. And somehow, even without me having professional hair and makeup, Donna took the best photos of me that have ever been taken. When my husband saw our photo gallery, he said "Wow, these are better than my eyes."
