I first picked up a camera when I was only 13. I rode horses at the time and began my journey with photographing horses. Not long after, I joined a photography club in high school and got into surrealist self portraiture that I would share on Flickr and grew so much through that!
In college, I was accepted into an entrepreneurship program of only 40 students a year and had the opportunity to start my wedding photography business. I began photographing intimate beach weddings in the Florida panhandle, and then when I moved back to my hometown of Miami, I was able to pursue weddings full-time. After college, I was bit by the travel bug and traveled to 40 countries throughout my twenties. During that time, I also grew my business to include destination weddings and elopements and shot in places like Iceland, Greece, Mexico, Colombia, Alaska, Yosemite, and more!
In August of 2022, I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and could no longer handle the physical nature of "big weddings". My diagnosis forced me to slow down but it also helped me reflect on what type of work I want to focus on that also honors my body and needs. I now specialize in intimate weddings and elopements, couples sessions, maternity, personal branding, and other lifestyle sessions. And these happen to be the best opportunities for me to work in an environment with low stress which makes for the best results and experience for my clients, as well.
