I never initially planned to become a professional photographer. I started out doing photography when I was 13 because I had always loved art and felt drawn to photography as an art form. I then spent my high school years practicing photography every day at home and in my backyard and began really growing in my craft from a young age. It was my high school photography mentor that pushed me to take this seriously and consider a career in photography and I decided to listen.
Because of that, I've always seen my photography work as art first and a business second. I studied Entrepreneurship in college so I could gain the skills needed to run a successful business. I know the value of my work but I also know that photography can be hard to access financially for many people. I try to find a balance where my work can be accessible but my pricing also reflects my 12 years of experience professionally and 17 years total as a photographer. My number one goal is to build trust and confidence with my clients so I can turn them into repeat clients and build genuine relationships that last for years to come.

Donna planned and then drove with us on our Mexico elopement road trip from the desert to a jungle sculpture garden, which had always been a dream for us. The trip (itinerary planned by Donna) was literally a dream come true, with lunches with epic views and beautiful nature walks to waterfalls. Donna was so fun and so easygoing. And somehow, even without me having professional hair and makeup, Donna took the best photos of me that have ever been taken. When my husband saw our photo gallery, he said "Wow, these are better than my eyes."
I always knew Donna was incredibly talented, but seeing our elopement photos left us speechless. She captured every emotion so beautifully and made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to truly enjoy the moment. It was truly a sentimental moment for us and having Donna there made it even more special. We met in Miami, and life surprised us when we learned that we were both living in Chattanooga. It was meant to be!
I had the idea to elope in Yosemite and before I had even planned out our elopement, I knew I wanted Donna to be our photographer. From the moment we decided to book her, she helped us so much along the way with planning out the details of our elopement. Donna was there to capture us getting ready at the cabin with our family, for our elopement ceremony with Glacier Point as our backdrop, and suggest Taft Point for our sunset photoshoot which turned out AMAZING. I still can't believe these photos are real and I am forever grateful to Donna that we will have these memories for the rest of our lives.
