This Playa Mujeres engagement session was extra special because it was for two of my best friends! We got to go to a childhood friend’s wedding in Mexico this April and it was the most special time getting to celebrate with all our closest friends. Christian and Brandice had recently got engaged so it just worked out perfect that I got to photograph their engagement session while we were in Mexico!
The wedding weekend was at Secrets Playa Mujeres which is about 40 minutes north of the Cancun airport. It’s one of Mexico’s best all-inclusive resorts and we were really impressed with our stay there! I knew as soon as I saw the property online that we had to do their session here; there are so many amazing places for photos. We shot close to sunset and just explored the grounds and then ended on the beach and it was magical!

We had the most amazing time staying at Secrets Playa Mujeres for our friend’s wedding and it was so amazing getting to shoot here! This hotel is only 40 minutes from Cancun but feels like you are in a quiet, private stretch of beach. I’ve stayed at a few all-inclusive hotels in Mexico and I think Secrets is my favorite! Everything from the property, the staff, the food, the pool, and the beach were all amazing. I highly recommend it for a Mexico wedding!
