Many years ago, I had the honor of shooting Karenny and Denin’s Miami engagement photos and we just hit it off! Their downtown Miami photoshoot was one of my favorite couples sessions I’d done. When they asked me recently to do their maternity session, I was excited to get to capture this next chapter in their story.

If you follow my work, you know that I love water maternity photography and Karenny had fallen in love with those photos of mine, as well! So we did their photoshoot at sunrise at one of my favorite places in Miami to shoot, Matheson Hammock Park. It’s the perfect place to get in the water at sunrise without many people around and because it’s a lagoon, the water is calm so you don’t have to get absolutely soaked if you don’t want to.

This session came out SO good and I’m just so happy I got to help bring her vision to life. <3
